Family History Research
Link pages divided into two parts. Part 1 deals with mainly with the Academic Community History Research. Part 2 (this page) is the second link that assists the Family Genealogy side of research. In many cases these topics are intertwined so it is worth looking at all subject headings.
All the links or "hyperlinks" will in many cases move you automatically to another web site on the internet, where the author has placed the information.

|
This site maintained by Don Dickson has two portals, one into family history and one into community history. The family history has an extraction from the indexes of England & Wales BMDs for the name of HASPEY and it's variant HASPY. It gives for each extracted name the year (volume) and index location of the manuscript books maintained at the Family Record Centre in London. The site also has a works-in progress history of the Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment, that was disbanded in 1922 with the creation of the Irish Republic. Extensive family history data includes descriptions of the social conditions in Liverpool and Glasgow during late 19th century and early 20th centuries. |
