Conference Schedule

Saturday 5 May, Registration 9.30 am - 10.15am to close with tea at 4.30 pm.

The theme of the 2001 Annual Conference was:

"Beer and Skittles"

The price of the conference is £15 for members (who can bring one guest at this rate) and DA301 students, non-members £20. Price includes refreshments and a lunch

The South East Region Group will present a report on their research

There is now just one open slot. Members should send their request to make a presentation as soon as possible to Michael Kemp

The Arithmeticke Project

There will be a poster display prepared by Pauline White relating to the progress made in connection with the Arithmeticke Project. The purpose of the project involves local study activities that explores the diffusion of hindu-arabic numerals, in place of roman numerals, in the period 1540 - 1700. Five individual studies are at present in progress.
