	In the January 2000 Survey, members were asked to indicate their research interests. A number of choices were offered as a guideline, though many members also listed secondary and tertiary choices ... some even more. A sample of other interests that were submitted may be seen by clicking here.
	The majority of FACHRS members are engaged in some form of research associated with a distinctive community, be that a Village, a large Estate or Manor and some were more focused on distinctive areas within towns or other geo-spatial research.
	Charts such as this are of major benefit when reviewing core themes for conferences and meetings in addition to providing background readership data for the editorial committee of the Society Journal.
